Città sottomarina - Underwater City

Esiste una città sommersa nascosta nel profondo della nostra anima ...
Tutto è calma, armonia, silenzio. Non so se sia abitata. Le acque della corrente l' avvolgono facendone brillare le forme come una perla di rara bellezza. I coralli oscillano lenti, ritmando una musica ormai cancellata. Il muto incedere delle stagioni non la sfiora. Solo l'acqua che l'ha inghiottita chissà quando, accarezza lieve i suoi contorni e danza sopra la roccia.

Per questa visione mi sono ispirata ad una delle mie illustratrici preferite, la sudafricana Fiona Moodie. Altre preziose fonti sono state le visioni dei paesaggi cristallizzati ed eterei di Pieter Bruegel il Vecchio.

There is an underwater city hidden deep in our soul ...
All is calm, beauty and silence. I do not know whether it is inhabited, the waters of the current make it shine like a pearl of rare beauty. For this vision, I was inspired by one of my favorite southafrican illustrators, Fiona Moodie  and from the crystallized  landscapes of Pieter Bruegel the Elder. This piece took me many days to performing, but the atmosphere is quite right what I wanted represent.

This piece is an original mixed-media painting, measuring 14.56" x 10.31" (37 x 26,3 cm).

The painted area misure 9.8" x 4.7" (25  x 12 cm).

Blue Water Art print - Acqua Blu

Questa stampa (tratta da una mia illustrazione originale) celebra la forza marina, voluttuosa ed emotiva. L'acqua è forza, adattabilità, mutevolezza e trasformazione. Caratteristiche queste, tipiche del segno zodiacale dello Scorpione e dei segni "fratelli" Cancro e Pesci. Nel Feng Shui l'acqua dona ricchezza e mantiene la giusta vibrazione per un movimento costruttivo sia sul piano fisico che sul piano emotivo. La raffigurazione dell'acqua in oriente porta ricchezza monetaria e abbondanza, per questo spesso negli uffici e nelle zone più importanti della casa si mette un acquario con pesci in numero dispari o, come in questo caso, una raffigurazione che li rappresenta.

This print (taken from my original artwork) is intended as a celebration of the marine force, sensual and emotional. Water is my favorite element, as it embodies the strength, adaptability and mutability typical of the astrological sign of Scorpio (my sign) and signs "brothers" (Cancer and Pisces). In Feng Shui the water gives wealth and maintains the right vibration for a constructive movement both physically and emotionally. The depiction of water in the East gives monetary wealth and abundance and for this meaning, is a good advice put fish in an aquarium (in an odd number) in offices or in the most important areas of the house, or, as in this case, a picture that represents sea.

Blue Moon - Luna Blu

La cosiddetta "Luna Blu" è il nome che si indica, astronomicamente parlando al fenomeno della luna piena che si ripete all'interno dello stesso mese. Nella tradizione esoterica, è un buon auspicio, essendo legato all'acqua, fonte primaria di vita.
Concepito come un ciondolo - talismano in grado di ricaricare l'energia della persona che lo indossa, è collegato ai segni d'acqua (Cancro, Scorpione, Pesci). Questo ciondolo è un omaggio a Vishuddha, il quinto Chackra, essenza di armonia e di purificazione corporea e spirituale. Una miniatura astratta che trasmette un forte potere positivo.

Blue Moon is the name given to indicate the repetition of the full moon in the same month.
In the esoteric tradition, it is a good omen, being linked to water, primal source of life. Again, this pendant is a talisman tied to Vishuddha, the fifth Chackra, connected to harmony and purification of body and spirit. A miniature, who transmits strong positive power. Conceived as a pendant - talisman that can recharge energy of the person wearing it.

A friend of mine wanted this bookmark like a gift for his sister, lover of the sea and summer. It 'decorated with a small pearl of Tibetan metal and has a "tail" of raffia and organza whose give a funny look, but elegant. The water clear and calm and the depth of the sea with its treasures of coral and mother of pearl .. the sea is really a fascinating mystery ...

Flowers by the depht - Fiori dagli abissi

Water has always represented the abundance, diversity and the passage of time and things.

In this blue ocean, no one would imagine small anemones, algae, fish and corals, throbbing life hidden in the deep ocean. Water is a carrier of grace, wealth and happiness.

Lately all my creations are permeated with the principles of Feng Shui.

I find this philosophy of life is the best to help to express each concept and each of our way of being, as well as improve our moods and our benevolent  impressions towards other people. I represent the water often because it is my favorite element (my zodiac sign is Scorpio, Cancer rising).

I love to swim and hear the sound of a  torrent  that I often go to see when I come back in the native country of my father

L'acqua ha sempre rappresentato l'abbondanza, la mutevolezza, la purezza e lo scorrere del tempo.

In questa illustrazione in tecnica mista, ho voluto rappresentare l'essenza di questo splendido elemento.

Nel feng Shui è uno dei cinque elementi* piu' amati, poichè dona ricchezza e rimanda al movimento come passaggio ed evoluzione.

Ultimamente amo molto illustrare il mare e le profondità dell'oceano. Probabilmente è dovuto al forte passaggio astrale del sole nel mio segno, lo Scorpione, che notoriamente è governato dall'acqua, come pure il mio ascendente, Cancro.

Della Luna vi parlerò piu' avanti.
